Careers * Higher Education * Home & Life

It's no accident I cover these topics. Here's my background:

Career Development

I worked in the career services office for my alma mater, Trinity College, and graduate school, Columbia University's School of International & Public Affairs (SIPA). I helped edit student resumes and cover letters, set up career development panels, maintained job notices, and networked with recruiters.

College Life/Alumni Relations

For SIPA, I served as editor of the alumni newsletter, covering campus events, profiling alumni and department research, and promoting the school's latest endeavors. For Indiana Alumni Magazine, I served as assistant editor/ad manager, writing and editing feature articles, and editing the Campus Life and International Students' newsletters.

Home & Life

As I wrote in About Me, I'm naturally curious. Whether it's at home or on the road, I love to share what I discover. An avid DIYer, I enjoy tackling home improvement projects and content. My first editorial job, in fact, was on a construction association publication. During grad school, I also served as a production intern on Good Morning America's House Doctor segment, providing viewers with home improvement/maintenance tips.
